Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Copyright Notice
LiC will apply the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) licence to articles and other published images, records, resources, and research materials . If LiC submits a work for publication, the authors agree to have the CC Attribution NonCommercial SareAlike license applied to their work. Under this Open Access licence, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their content.
The specific legal conditions for this type of licence apply. Authors retain copyright of their work, with first publication rights granted to Law in Context. The authors should sign LyC Copyright Agreement once the article is accepted for publication (download). Licensees can (i) Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, and (ii) Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material.
According to CC, these are the terms of the licence, and LiC is committed to respect them:
-Attribution — Licensees must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made. They may do so in a reasonable manner.
-NonCommercial — They may not use the material for commercial purposes.
-ShareAlike — If they remix, transform, or build upon the material, they must distribute the contributions under the same licence as the original.
LiC reserves the right to remove any photos, captures, images, figures, tables, illustrations, audio and video files, and the like, from any paper, whether before or after publication, if there is reason to believe that the content was included in the paper without permission from the owner of the content. Authors can use the LiC Content permission form (download), which should be signed and sent back to LiC with the LiC Copyright Agreement (download).

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
